What is International Accreditation?

Accreditation is the recognition from an accrediting agency that an institution maintains a certain level of educational standards.  In South Africa the Department of Higher Education and Training maintains registration of educational institutions and the accreditation by several bodies such as the Council on Higher Education which accredit higher degrees. The South African Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC) ensures quality of education. C2I is also registering with the International Accreditation Organization, the British Accreditation Council and the PECB. The PECB  is a certification body which provides education and certification under ISO/IEC 17024 on a wide range of disciplines.

What is DHET and SETA Accreditation?

Department of Higher Education and Training and Sector Education and Training Accreditation is a South African requirement for certain courses and programs in order to provide NQF equivalency and quality assurance.

We follow a process in getting this accreditation for each program which start with an application, providing Assessors and Moderator and making use of our Quality Management System (QMS) as it is applicable to our International Accreditation as well.
